Artistic Background

I began my artistic life in 1991 in the provincial school of art. I graduated as a professional dancer in musical productions. Afterwards I gained a rich knowledge of dance and entertainment working at many different hotels in major resort areas in Cuba. Then I returned to my native province and started to work at the hotel Marea del Portillo. Besides being the lead male dancer I also choreographed many musical productions. Also at this hotel I acted in many productions based on the history of our country from the beginning to the present day. I also danced in musical productions for very important events for government and also for local festivals.  In March 2004 I came to Canada. At this time started a small business teaching Latin Dance in my home. In the spring of 2005 I joined the Latin Dance theatre  group which performed at different activities in the Toronto area. In September of 2005 I rented studio space at Lois Laxton Studio and every Monday I taught Latin Dance. I now provide group lesson at a local church and also private lessons on the west mountain.
